I recently learned that an esty member (ulljasbeads) has been buying beads from myself & several other lampwork artists on ebay (ebay ID's gerbera28, pinacolada197267 & cocinella31)or their websites, then selling them on etsy and claiming to have made them herself in Milan, Italy. If you are a seller on ebay I would suggest you put these names on your blocked bidders list. The SRA (self representing artist) & ISGB (international society of glass beadmakers) have already banned Ullja Kuntze and or Melek Kuntze. A case has been filed with the FBI Internet Fraud Division and they are watching her closely. Both her beadshop and her cookie shop have been closed. Thanks to all for the hard work of the lampworkers community at lampworketc for all the dedication they have put into stopping this fraud.
****Please be aware of the lampwork beads you buy. Not all sellers are honest and some have been known to pass off others work as their own. Also check the SRA website to see if the seller has been BANNED.****
